Description: In a fight for the title of 'Awesome', Mimiru and Dr. Tran battle it out. What starts out as an even fight quickly goes downhill for Tran, as he quickly discovers that being awesome doesn't neccesarily cross over from day to day. (Winner: Mimiru)
It's early. Way earlier than Tran would normally be up and about. However, after last night...that was a fight to remember. There was just entirely too much awesome being flung about, and Tran is pretty much so pumped up that he couldn't sleep. He just keeps playing that epic battle in his head, over and over, occasionally throwing a punch in midair when he gets to a particularly exciting part.
Heck, even getting trashed by Alma (again) after the fight was actually over isn't dampening his spirits. He's just that happy! Aiding the mood is a nice, hot, steaming cup of coffee, which Tran occasionally sips from. Yup, about the only thing that could make things better is if he got to beat the crap out of someone else.
There are two kind of people who wake up early -- young people and old people. Teenagers generally doesn't classify in this because they're too lazy but Mimiru... Oh no, not Mimiru, the girl has so much energy she can't sleep much herself and she's already rested and ready to go! In fact, she's already out there in the streets and having a walk around with her faithful canine.
Mimiru hums softly and she glances over to Tran, arching a brow as she notices his rather unusual cheerfulness. "Ahahah, why the good mood now, eh? Did you finally manage to understand things about Chi and stuff? You know, I just realized a few days ago that you're trying to steal our gimmick. Yeah... 'cause you're like, Dr. Awesome and we're Team Awesome and that's just too much Awesomeness for this city so you know... That means one of us will have to leave the city and since you're the adult well..."
Under normal circumstances, Tran would be downright disgusted at how perky Mimiru is acting this early. However, being as he's feeling perky, himself, an exception can be made on this fine morning!
Still, the sudden explosion of chatter from Mimiru catches him off-guard. He blinks once or twice, staring at her, trying to go over everything she just said, and then finally grins. "You're absolutely right. I'm the adult, so I get precedence. Be less awesome or get the hell out, girl! I, naturally, can't be less awesome, since that would be like trying to stop breathing. Simply impossible!" He cracks his knuckles once or twice. "And you know, if you're really wondering if I've made any progress with chi, well. I've got a good way to let you find out."
Mimiru blinks a couple of time and she folds her arms in front of her chest, turning her gaze away. She sticks her tongue out and she shakes her head a few times, "Bah! Yeah, right, you know, awesomeness is actually something that fades away with age, I don't think you have much more awesomeness to tap upon under your belt, doc," Mimiru states.
Her lips curl into a wide grin and she glances over to Dr. Tran, "Nah, I can't do that, but what I can do is actually give you a spanking and show you that it's time for you to retire 'cause there's youth who's ready to take your place, old man." Mimiru says as she wiggles a finger about.
"So, since I know you're just that slow and frail and... Well, because I don't want to beat you up too bad 'cause that wouldn't be really awesome... I'll let you the chance to show me your awesomeness... You might as well use this opportunity! Who knows, maybe it'll be the only time you'll get the chance to, heheh."
Impertinence! Impudence! Insolence! In fact, it's all just rolling off Tran's back, like water off a duck. His happiness acts as a sort of mental oil, so these slights to his speed and hardiness just get shrugged with a grin. Waggling a finger in warning, Tran clucks his tongue. "Ah, ah, ah. I've got nowhere to go from here but up! You say you'll take my place, but you're just not awesome enough, kid! You can try your hardest, and I guarantee that I'll put you back down into your place!"
Dr. Tran pauses thoughtfully at this point, cupping his chin in one hand. "And no spanking, either. I don't mind the rough stuff, but you're still way too young for me to even be interested."
That's when you see this kind of behaviour that you wonder where those kids' parents are and what are they doing about their kids' education. Mimiru chuckles and she hums softly, "Yeah, you sound pretty confident but still! It has been decided, there's not enough room for that much awesomeness, so the solution is clear, we shall fight and the loser will have to leave."
Lips curling into a wide grin, she says, "Well then, since you're that awesome then, guess I'll have to take the first shot!" Mimiru sticks her tongue out and she says, "Blah, I'll spank you that you like it or not! It's my trademark for humiliating my enemies, boooya!" And so, since Tran didn't take her offer, she'll jump in and give Tran her best part of awesomeness ever.
"Have a taste of the almighty... SUPER MIMIRU PUNCH!!" The girl shouts as she hurls her glowing fist over toward Tran's midsection.

Shaking his head ruefully, Tran's caught off guard by Mimiru's super punch. It's fast, make no mistake, but honestly...not that painful. It slams into the doctor's gut, driving him a single step back, but he just holds his hand up and shakes his finger. "Ah, ah, ah. It's not enough to just fight...we have to make it official!"
Taking a step forward, Tran shouts out and tries to drive his fist into Mimiru's midsection, in a mocking imitation of her punch. "Let's make it for the league! HAH!"

It doesn't have to be strong because it's full of awesomeness! Alas, it seems that Tran's own awesomeness from yesterday is still lodged deep within him as he counters with a single punch and... Oh no! Mimiru fails to get out of the way from this one? This is bad, perhaps Tran really has much more awesomeness to tap on this time.
Mimiru winces and it's her turn to take a step back. She moves both of her arms and tries to grab Tran's arm, "Well, sounds good to me, if you want a defeat!" Mimiru says, always cocky, a wide grin on her lips as she tries to twist the man's arm about in a rather painful sort of arm-lock.
"I'll make you regret from trying to imitate my super mimiru punch! You aren't awesome enough to do it." She says, sticking her tongue out.

Clearly, the only reason Mimiru couldn't get out of the way is because even an imitation Super Mimiru Punch is still awesome enough to never fail. And maybe it's helped by the fact that Tran's still full of awesome.
Regardless, Mimiru gets her hold, grabbing Tran's arm in such a way that he goes pop once or twice, grimacing in pain. Clearly, he has to get out of this quickly, before Mimiru figures out a way to make it even worse. "Careful what you do with that tongue. Something bad might happen to it!" To show just how bad a thing might happen, Tran launches a dual assault - a quick, light, and fairly awkward jab with his free hand, and a sweeping kick with the opposite leg, trying to take Mimiru's legs out from under her.

Or... Before Mimiru just force him down to the ground and start the spanking time! Gladly this isn't going to happen... For now, at least. "Ouch, heh! Knock it off!" Mimiru says, wincing a bit as Tran's squirming forces her to let go of him, considering how she's getting hit by his other arm but mostly because of his backward kick. She's not in a good position so might as well let go!
"Bah, nothing bad can be the result of me doing stuff with my tongue!" Mimiru just lifts her foot up and she just tries to give a hard shove in Tran's back and force him off to get splattered against a wall or the sidewalk. At least, just a nasty kick on his butt while it's still in her sight.

Tran can tell Mimiru's a bit off guard, and it only helps once she rears back to deliver a slow-ass kick like that. Naturally, then, remembering what fighting her in the past has been like, Tran rushes to attack, chi rippling around one hand. Except as he turns, he stumbles for no readily apparent reason, taking her kick hard on the hip.
He's sent staggering, having to put his hands against the ground briefly to keep himself up. Finishing his turn, staring a little bit irately at Mimiru, Tran dryly notes, "I sure won't argue."
Lips curling into a wide grin, Mimiru says, "Well, glad we actually agree on one thing!" The girl chuckles and she cracks her knuckles, "Alright, time to stop fooling around and get serious." Mimiru says. The little girl rushes over Tran, "Alright, here comes..." She says as she finally closes in with Tran.
The girl takes a second or two, just enough to kneel down and duck, only to give herself more power as she bounces back up to her full height, bringing her arm up and sending her fist right over in an attempt to smash Tran under his chin, "SUPER MIMIRU UPPERCUT!!" The girl shouts.

Dr. Tran barks out a quick laugh. "Ha! Fancy that." Taking a step back, to give himself just a moment of extra time to deal with Mimiru's attack, Tran lowers an arm and catches Mimiru's punch. He doesn't do it very cleanly, and it still jars his entire arm, but it beats getting pegged in the chin.
"Now, now. Come on, don't use that until it's /really/ super, 'kay?" Pushing off and leaping a few steps back, Tran cocks his head, revealing that once again he's grinning. "Of course, any other super thing you might come up with wouldn't be too bad."

"Alright then!" Mimiru says with a snort. "If you want something pretty super, I'll give you something pretty nifty no other fighters can do!" Mimiru says as she strikes a pose. The girl's lips curl into a wide grin and she actually points out a finger over to Tran, "Come on, my super canine friend! Let's teach him the power of friendship and teamwork!"
Mimiru's lips curl into a wide grin and just folds her arms in front of her chest as, almost out of the blue, with a loud howling, Max comes jumping out of nowhere from behind Mimiru and seems to dive-tackle down right into Tran. Watch out for the coat, 'cause it's going to get a few claws and fang marks into it... Maybe!

"You call that super? HAH!" Tran doesn't wait for Max - instead, he charges right at the dog, letting Max tear into him. He doesn't even care. "I do believe I feel a light breeze!" Nevermind that he's bleeding from a couple of places at this point. Still running, Tran sweeps his arms back and forth, sending those kooky steam boomerangs whizzing forward before he draws up short, finally throwing Max off of him. "You and your dog really don't have a chance. Just give up now." Sure, it's pretty much just baseless bravado. That doesn't matter, though!

Max grants Mimiru enough distraction so she can remain focus on Tran's attack. The girl bites her lips and she lifts her arms up to block the incoming boomerangs of steam that are hurled her way. It still hurts, but thanks to Max, she manages to keep her full awareness. She glances over to her dog as he's forced off from Tran's back and she says, "Bah! Being Awesome means to never give up, no matter what, so I'm fighting until the end!"
Mimiru growls and she dashes over to Tran, clenching her hand into a tight fist and she says, "'cause Max and I are awesome, we'll never give up and we'll kick your butt 'cause we're way more awesome than those little steam stuff, you're so out of it!" Mimiru says as she swings her fist toward Tran's midsection.

Well, crap. Even as Mimiru's coming at him, Tran is building up with the steam stuff she mentioned just a moment ago. However, things...don't really work out like he'd planned. He waits just a moment too long, and when Mimiru's punch comes in, it knocks him off just enough to make him blast a huge, thick as a man jet of steam up and off into the distance. "Oh, son of a..."
After that punch, as Tran is knocked back, Mimiru's lips curl into a wide grin and she rests her hands on her waist, "See? That's why steam coolness is out of it, that doesn't do a thing. So this is out it'll go, I'm going to spank you, and then you'll be so ashamed you'll leave the city." Mimiru says with a few nods of her head. She grins and cracks her knuckles, "Alright, let's get to it then." She says.
"First step, let's get you on the ground --!" The girl muses out loud as she tries to get a hold of Tran's coat and then sweep him off his legs with her legs and slams him down to the ground.

And Tran just...sighs. And yesterday was so awesome, too, but now it seems like it's going to be one of THOSE days. Mimiru is once again too quick for him, although honestly at this point the fight's gone out of him. Finding himself slammed down onto his stomach, Tran groans and mumbles, "Screw it. I don't even care anymore." Despite this, however, he makes one last effort, as steams forms all along his body. Without even caring if Mimiru is still above him, Tran makes himself geyser central, sending steam exploding upward all around him. And afterward, he's totally spent.

Rising up her sleeves, Mimiru grins and she says, "Alright! Spanking time!" She says with a soft chuckle as she moves over to actually try to deliver a nasty spanking to Tran. Alas though, Tran is saved by his steam as the burst from this geyser literally throws off Mimiru and it forces her to stagger about a couple of paces. The girl moves her arms about and she coughs, "Bah!" The girl mutters sticking her tongue over to the downed Tran, "Fine, fine, I got it, no spanking..."
Rolling over, Tran just looks up at the sky for a minute, throughly beaten and soaked. So much for the wave of good-feelin' he was riding earlier. "You know..." He pauses, as though he's about to impart some shining jewel of knowledge. "You're really annoying."
Lips curling into a wide grin, ignoring Tran's little word of wisdom, Mimiru strikes a victory pose and she says, "Let it be known that from now on, the new owner of the Awesome Title is now Team Awesome! Which means that Doctor Awesome is now Doctor Normal!" Mimiru grins and she bounces about, giggling some, "Ahaha, that's the power of the Chou Mimiru-do!" She says, for all the cameras to see and stuff. Gotta give some advertisement for Team Awesome after all!
"Really, really annoying." With a sigh, Tran pushes himself up onto his feet, rubbing at a couple of tender spots, and starts to walk off, already trying to console himself for losing to Mimiru to horribly badly. It's not like anybody other than her, including Dr. Tran himself, ever actually called him Doctor Awesome, so it's not like it's that big of a loss. Still...it's humiliating, getting beaten up by a teenage girl!
Lips curling into a grin, Mimiru turns her attention back to Tran and she tilts her head to one side, "Heh, come on," Mimiru says as she glances over to Tran, "Cheer up now, don't go all emo like my bro!" Mimiru says. She grins and moves one hand into her pocket and takes out an apple, "Here! Consolation price!" Mimiru says, flexing a little. She grins and adds, "You'll get your chance to get your title back some time, doc! Until now, you gotta practice harder!" Mimiru says.
