Description: Shingo teams up with his 'student' Shinobu team against the Zero Doll. (Winners: Shingo and Shinobu)
Wheel of morality, turn turn turn. Teach us the lesson that we should learn. And today's moral is...wait. Wrong wheel there. Today's contestants aren't here for some silly Wheel of Morality. They're here for some hardcore, ass-kicking Pay-Per-View action sponsered by the one and only Duck King for his new Wheel of Madness tournament! The stage has been set in the Southtown famous Pao Pao Cafe! A section of the restaurant partioned off to serve as the main arena for the fighters in a circular fashion. Then there's a distance of about five metres before the crowd section begins. For safety reasons, you understand. The crowd section also serving as the dining area. With all these people here it would be bad for business not to mention a crime against entrepreneurship to not maintain some sort of normal business. Everything is set up for the live broadcast. They're just waiting on the fighters. All of whom should be already in the arena.
Well, Shingo sure is. There's nothing to note on his dress. It's the same clothing he always wears; black Kusanagi gloves on his hands. The boy waves to the crowd with a wide grin/smile. It's really no different from being at a SNF match to him. Except that for the first time since she declared it, he's teamed up with his 'student'. Against none other than the infamous Doll, Cammy. Someone he has met before and noted she was on the same team as that Vega character. Still. Shingo waves over to Cammy, "Hey Cammy! Let's have a good match, all right?" Then he turns to Shinobu to give her some pointers and talk tactics. That is if she's here already. If not, guess he's talking to himself.

Shinobu looks at the card between her fingers, flipping it over and over again as she looks at it, seemingly expecting a third side to show itself. After a moment of Shingo's suggestions, she looks up at him, staring for a moment, and then stretches an arm upward. She's good at the fighting thing, but not so much with the whole planning, so she doesn't have too much to add. She does nod, pretending she gets it, before whining, "Man, I don't like this two of us against one... it's not fair." She folds her hands behind her head, looking across the arena, frowning as she looks Cammy over. She then just shakes her head, and takes a step forward into a low, wide stance. "C'mon, c'mon.", she mutters impatiently.
Cammy, for once in her life, was almost late to the event. Almost. Stepping into the arena with short, precise steps, the Doll steps to her side of the arena, her brilliantly blue eyes flicking from person to person. Shingo she remembered... vague images and feelings... but Shinobu she couldn't recall. At all. Stiffening up at first into a quasi-military posture, the Doll ignores the various cheers and jeers of the crowd about her. That wasn't the only thing she was ignoring at the moment, it seems. Her uniform, generally crisp and clean for a public event... was not. It wasn't completely filthy, no, but the splotches of dirt, and the small tears in the sleeve didn't make it look nice. At least Cammy herself, on the other hand, was clean. Her cap was noticeably missing, as well.
Shingo's question, however, elicts a nod, and a small bow from the Doll, Cammy then exploding out of her stiff posture... to stand with legs slightly wider than her shoulders, bringing both her clenched fists up as she glances from person to person. She wasn't used to fighting more than one opponent. This would be... a challenge.
If Shinobu knew how tough the Doll really was then she wouldn't be so quick to say that this match-up was unfair in anyway to the blonde. So he says in counter to that, "I wouldn't be so sure about that. She's tough. And really quick. So be careful." Shingo nods back to Cammy and gives her a thumbs-up. "Yosh! Let's go then!" He turns to the fight officials and they get the idea that now would be the ideal time to ring the bell signaling the start of the match. Right after the announcer gets his say in. All fighters getting their appropriate flattering descriptors as he motions to them with a hand. "Fighters, ready? FIGHT!"
The crowd is here for a show and Shingo is going to give them a show. And what's more showy than the move that everyone knows and loves? Unless they're on the receiving end of it. That's right. Not exactly the most electrifying move in fighting entertainemnt but it still garners cheers and ooohs from the crowd. "SHINGO KIIIIIICKU!" The boy's variation of his sensei's R.E.D. Kick comes down aimed at Cammy's body. She may be a trained assassin but she's still a girl. And Shingo doesn't hit girls in the face. If he can help it.
Shinobu has a inflated... well, it's not quite an ego. More just an inflated sense of hope, really. She grins widely and toothily, and asides, "Don't talk like that, Shingo-sensei!", and then stands up straight, forming a sphere of blue chi in her in her hand. She then flings it up in the air, and turns her back on Cammy, starting to walk away. The ball, however, tumbles down towards the slender blonde, falling down /near/ her... only to detonate in a fluid, wave-like geyser just following Shingo's attack. She looks over her shoulder, eyeing to see how her opponent deals with the twofold attack.

In the face, or in the chest, Cammy wasn't fond of being struck by the foot of the young Yabuki today. With a rapid movement, Cammy sidesteps the incoming blow, turning around to face Shingo more fully... when the geyser of energy strikes her in the back, causing Cammy to stumble forward with a bit of a groaning noise. Ouch. Casting a glance over her shoulder towards Shinobu, Cammy falls unto one knee with that same motion... then launching up and off of the ground with a kick, the Doll's body barrelling through the air towards... Shingo.
Keeping the soles of her boots facing the ground with that jump, the Doll slaps her weighted gauntlets over her chest in such a way, as to cause her to rapidly spin through the air, gaining momentum for when she lands. When she does land, it would hopefully be by Shingo Yabuki himself, her right arm beginning to glow with a bluish sort of energy as she then lashes that arm out at his face, exerting her body to apply as much force as possible when she slams the back of that gauntlet into Shingo's cheek. At least that was the plan.

If Cammy thought that getting hit by the Petite Pop was 'Ouch'...she should see what that Spin Knuckle did to Shingo. Wait! She did! It was a deceptive move. For some reason he was thinking that hey, she's swinging her arm at him in the manner of a backhand. So why not go ahead and retaliate with an elbow strike to her shoulder as she was about to hit? That was the plan. It was sound and everything. Right up until the point that it turns out that there's nothing physical whatsoever about the blow. The psi energy surrounding her fist hitting him hard. Right across the cheek, whipping his whole head and incidentally the rest of his body. Shingo spins several times before hitting the ground. Hard. Just not hard enough to keep him down. He's on his feet a good distance away, side of his face glowing a fierce red from the impact. Right. Time to actually think.
Shinobu suddenly dashes at Cammy after the blow, trying to take advantage of the opening. As she hops over Shingo's fallen form, her hands flow with the same liquid energy as before, but the she spreads her hands wide as she comes in to land, trying to catch Cammy as she spreads the energy into an oversize bubble. It's definitely a risky gamble, but if she can actually catch the swifter girl, the followup should be quite painful!

Unfortunately, Shinobu was correct in saying that it was a risky move. Recovering from her strike against Shingo by jerking her hand back towards herself, the energy surrounding the girl's arm fades away into little motes of white light as she glances up towards Shinobu's incoming assault. Cammy's counterassault was fast.
Moving quickly, almost faster than the eye can follow, Cammy sidesteps, before launching herself up -towards- Shinobu... but before the other girl can spread her arms wide, Cammy lashes out a foot in a kick that catches her in the side, knocking her, and her possibly-painful energy away from Cammy, the Doll landing on her feet soon after the manuever, before snapping her fists back up, and turning around to orient herself towards the others once more.
The team of teacher and student is most definitely not off to the best of beginnings for the match. That much is certain. But! It's only a couple of slight drawbacks! No reason to toss in the towel just yet! After watching Shinobu get kicked away by Cammy, Shingo calls out to the Seijyun student, "Shinobu! Let's go! Just like before!" Next he lunges forward having recovered from his failed attempt at elbow striking Cammy. She dodged Shingo Kick. Maybe it was just a fluke? He'll be sure to give her another chance to do it again soon enough. But first! "You're fast, Cammy! But...you're not so tough!" In comes Shingo with a fast hook punch body blow. This shall be the start of their turnaround play against the Doll to win this!
Shinobu gets knocked back, tumbling end-over-end, and then kippups back to her feet. "Eh? That again?" This whole 'getting hit while she's hitting' seems to be a real weakness for her, after all. So, rather than repeat that mistake, she reaches back for a chair, and swings it forward. As the legs go parallel to the floor, Shinobu *kicks* it it in the seat, sending the piece of furniture bounding towards Cammy quite rapidly, with the speed of a baseball! It bounces once, tumbling end over end across the cafe!

Staring at Shingo, as he approaches, Cammy gets a determined look upon her face as she brings up a arm... her entire, possibly overmuscular body tensing as she catches the punch on her forearm, a small twitch in her expression the only external sign of her pain. That was right about when a chair barrels into her, causing her to stagger to one side as the piece of furntiture strikes her and breaks. Beneath her uniform, a bruise was forming... but Cammy's eyes remain upon Shingo.
Stepping forward, Cammy hops a short little hop upwards, somersaulting mid-air to begin to a rapid forward spin, the Doll curling into a ball as she approaches the earth one more... but right before she strikes the floor of the resteraunt, she explodes out from her little ball, snapping a foot at the side of Shingo's knee. The intent was to stagger Yabuki, long enough for Cammy to rise up to his side, a hand lashing out to take a hold of the front of his jacket, as she places one of her Thighs of Steel behind Shingo's legs... before giving him a harsh shove over the same.

Everything that Cammy just did? It happened. Even down to the shove at the end. There isn't much for him to do against the attack except stand there and take it like some sort of sparring dummy. The kick causes him to stagger and it's just downhill from there. He did think he had a darn good chance. It was staring him right in the face. Chance for what? Well, another go at his Moon Elbow. Except that he got deceived somehow by the lights of the make-shift arena or was probably expecting to go high when she went low. Either way, he finds himself on his back for a moment before he recovers with a roll onto his feet. Tch. His tactics aren't working out. And yet he's still smiling/grinning. If anything, he's having fun. What to do next...
Shinobu blinks, actually looking a little worried. But only a little. "Uh, sensei, you aren't supposed to fall down like that..." She shakes her head, and then hops into a table, running across the room as she knocks place settings aside, jumping from table to table. She then flips into midair, rolling another ball of watery chi in her hands and flinging it down towards Cammy. She then lands on a nearby table in a crouch, waiting for the telltale detontation.

Cammy had seen that move just a few short seconds before. Hoping to explode it prematurely, Cammy backpedals, and lashes out a hand for a salt shaker, throwing it at the oncoming energy... which would've been a great plan, if she didn't miss the blast of energy entirely, no barrier between the Killer Bee and the exploding ball of stuff. And this time, it knocks her flat upon her back.
Nonetheless, Cammy kipups back unto her feet, her breathing becoming shallower, and picking up in pace as she glances from person to person.
Shinobu brings up a good point. He is not supposed to fall down like the way he has been falling down before. Strange. Shingo doesn't seem to be putting on the usual performance and display of skill with Kusanagi-ryuu he's known for. Must be his off night. Though if you were to ask him, he would blatantly deny it. All comes with not thinking negatively. Always stay positive. As such, he's positive that the team of him and Shinobu will emerge victorious tonight. One way or the other. So far all of Shingo's attempts at attack have been less than successful. Time for him to change tactics. Taking a cue from his 'student', he grabs a conveniently placed chair. No, wait. -Two- chairs. One is hurled directly at the Doll as hard as he can throw it. The second? It's held onto as he quickly darts off to Cammy's side before it's thrown at her as well. Hopefully the double angle of two chairs will catch the dodgy one. "Teya!"
Shinobu pauses in her crouch, narrowing her eyes. Rather than press the attack, though, she raises up her leg, and brings it down in the table - causing all four legs to break from the harmonious impact! As she crashes to the ground, she braces with the impact, and then stands up straight, rubbing her neck, and then reaches over to yank an eyelid down, sticking out her tongue at Cammy. "Nyahhhhhhh."

There is no 'I' in teamwork! While that phrase may be unrelated to this situation... ya. In any event, Cammy's reaction to Shinobu's strange little taunt is to... freeze in place, canting her head to the side as she stares over at the girl, her eyes widening like a deer caught in headlights. Opening her mouth to speak something... Cammy is interrupted by a chair slamming into her, the bit of furniture splintering as it strikes her body. While Cammy cringes suddenly, curling her torso up a bit.. that doesn't stop her from staying up. The second chair, however, knocks her straight to the ground, the Doll blinking a few times before slowly starting to get up again. Ow.
Twisting around to face Shingo, Cammy pauses for a few long moments, as she studies his movements... and those sensitive to such things would be able to feel the buildup of power within her body. Indrawing a long breath... Cammy releases that breath the moment before springing into a impossibly-fast sprint towards Shingo, the Doll launching herself into the air feet first towards him, as sparking blue fire-shaped energy springs up from her feet, that energy blazing all along her legs. Slapping her arms over her chest, Cammy begins to rapidly spiral as she flies towards Shingo, hoping to land feet-first in his gut. That would just be the start. If she hit, three full times would she rotate there, before lashing out a foot towards the ground, both stopping her spin... and giving her the support she needs to drag a blazing foot up the boy's chest, hoping to impact his jaw firmly with her heel.

This is definitely not his night for getting out of the way of attacks. Or even blocking attacks. Or even getting hit by attacks. Um. Scratch that last statement. He seems to be doing the latter pretty well. Getting hit that is. If there was an award for how often one could get hit by attacks in one fight then Shingo would get it tonight. Still. It isn't enough to even bring his spirits down. He gave it his best, he has no regrets. Even after putting up his best guard effort against her smasher. Only to have her lithe but powerful legs pummel his torso with their spinning combination techniques, driving him up into the air and smashing into a table behind him when his jaw catches her heel. The boy is built tough. Immediately crashing into the furniture he springs off his back and speeds in on the Doll. "Awesome match, Cammy! But now I gotta burn you!" He's panting and breathing rather hard. It was a short match for him. Short and arduous. This is his last shot at giving Shinobu an even better chance at winning this for the team. "Burning..." Shingo rears his right hand back. "SHINGOOOOOOOOOOO!" His voice is clearly heard over the crowd when he closes in on the doll. His fist coming in at her deceptively fast in a quicker version of his Aragami Mikansei. This is where it begins. And ends.

Shinobu blinks, and says, "Sensei!", raising a hand, and then frowns. Closing her fists, she charges at Cammy, seeming ready to do an all-out assault. But... she then veers slightly to the side, running past rather than actually attacking. Is she running away? Well, perhaps that blue sphere she's left behind can offer a clue! An... explosive clue.

The end for Cammy that is! While he really wasn't all that hot at the beginning, he's on fire now! Flames dancing around his fist as it zeroes in on the, ironically, Zero Doll. Ok, not really. There's no fire. That doesn't stop a boy from dreaming though! In his eyes, the fires of Kusanagi-ryu burn fiercely around each and every punch that strikes Cammy. One punch goes into a reverse pivot punch. Two more complete it. Next he gives two downward punches at her torso before finally giving one serious backhand forearm to her gut to send her flying.
Exhausting himself, Shingo drops to his hands and knees huff and puffing. Looking up with a smile at Cammy, if she's still up and about, "Awesome match, Cammy!"
Rocking with every punch of Shingo's assault, at the very last blow, the blow strikes her gut, bringing her forward, and not quite sending her flying... but it does send her back a step or six. "Urf... I..." Cammy replies to Shingo, the sturdily-built Doll wavering in place... as she then turns her eyes up towards Shinobu. Baring bloodstained teeth as she draws her lips back, Cammy launches herself forwards towards the girl, keeping the soles of her feet facing the floor of the resteraunt. Again she brings her arms over her chest, the girl spinning about rapidly as she heads for the incoming projectile... and keeps traveling through the explosion, although her flight was now wobbly.
With the very last traces of her strength, Cammy forces energy into her arm, her right arm beginning to blaze with blue fires... and when she lands on the ground, it will hopefully be near where Shinobu was now, Cammy lashing out that flaming fist in a backhand towards Shinobu's face... but whether or not it hits, the Doll slumps to the ground soon after, laying with limbs askew as she stares up towards the ceiling, her chest heaving with each of her exhausted breaths.

Shinobu simultaneously lunges forward, leaning into the punch aimed at Cammy's solar plexus. As she takes the blow, she winces, and she calls out, "Ultimate final attack!" And then, her fist stops short, and she flicks a single finger, putting all the force into that one digit with a grin and a "Just kidding!" And it hits surprisingly hard - not devastating by any stretch, but definitely enough to give the worn Cammy a bit of insult to go with the injury. Or is that injury with the insult? With a squint, Shinobu then stands up straight, throwing both fists into the air. "Yay! Good going, sensei!... sensei?", she says, looking over towards the battered Shingo. She, by comparison, remains barely hurt.
There goes the bell. This match is over. Hooray for Shinobu still standing. Like teacher, like student, eh? Shingo is very impressed at how well she did tonight. As compared to his own performance. The way he sees it though is that it just made Shinobu's accomplishment that more excellent. Yes he's battered. Having taken the brunt of Cammy's attacks. It's what he gets for being the obligatory tank character on most teams. Not that he ever complains. It's his strength.
Medics come to take care of the fighters and Shingo knows for certain that the team was triumphed this day. "You too, Shinobu. Impressive. Most impressive." As he gets tended too, the boy calls out to Cammy to see if she's still awake, "Yo Cammy? Awesome match. If you want. I'll treat you and Shinobu to some ice cream or something. What do you say?" He chuckles with much pain.
Cammy was still awake, evidently, as the Doll lolls her head towards the side, from where she was put down by Shinobu. But aware? That wasn't quite so... obvious or evident. Her gaze was distant, and her brilliantly blue eyes blink twice as the medics come to her, the Doll's gaze focusing on Shingo. "Do they have the strawberry flavour advailible for purchase?" Cammy asks, before she slips into unconciousness with another blink.
Gasping in surprise, Shinobu says, "Ice cream? Awesome!", her arms still in the air. She lowers them, as she realizes. "Oh. Later. Still... hehe..." She holds up a fist with a grin, and then blinks as a medic actually starts putting ice on her bruise, and flails a little in panic before finally settling down.
