Description: Tekken has recently been analyzed as possible integration for the MotM setting. Specifically, Tekken 7 alone. While this means that regular such as Armor King and Marduk will be excluded, this will allow new faces such as Noctis and Negan to be available. While we overview whether or not Lucille can be approves, the already established newcomers will duke it out in the heart of an active Volcano. Heihachi would be proud. Kazuya, less so. Or is that the other way around?
SOME TIME EARLIER
Vehicles form in a circle in a forest clearing somewhere in the general area of the Southeastern United States. It may be Georgia, or it may be Virginia. (It is somewhat poorly defined.) Headlights shine into the circle, casting sinister shadows upon the men and women gathered in the center. Several figures sit on their knees, hands bound behind their backs, while a figure in a black leather jacket paces around them. He has something resting on his shoulder.
One figure is a bad man, well-muscled with particularly jagged, spiky hair sticking up from the sides of his head. Another is young man in a white karate gi with short black hair and a red headband. Yet another is a tall man with an eyepatch an a beret. Yet another is a brown haired woman who is, inexplicably, wearing a cowboy hat. One appears to be an enormous cyborg with shocking reddish pink hair who is awkwardly huddled with the rest as the man in the leather jacket paces. There are ill defined others also hunkered down and looking up at NEGAN in terror.
The camera zooms in on the features of NEGAN, a man in his fortires or fifties with slicked back black hair, a leather jacket, and a perpetual five o'clock shadow. He is holding a LUCILLE, a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire. He taps LUCILLE ominously against his shoulder, then slowly lowers the bat down, pointing it at the headband wearing karate fighter's face.
"Eeeny," NEGAN starts, pacing to the cyborg and pointing the bat at her in turn. "Meeny." The old man. "Miney." The cowgirl. "Moe." Lucille lingers in front of a blond man with a white gi and red hakama.
A man slightly off camera shouts, hopping up from his chair in anger. He is slightly overweight and wearing a Dodgers cap. A plastic megaphone hangs around his neck, swinging between the sides of his blue winter vest. "What is it, Miles, don't you see that we're filming here?"
"Well, sir, I was just worried that..."
"Worried about what, Miles?"
"Well, Mr. Darafont, I just think it might be a little...disrespective? I mean, did we get these people's permissions to use their licenses? Aren't they all based on, well....serious fighters, sir?"
"Yes, and? Negan is a badass. We need to reiterate his badassery. He's the toughest, meanest guy around. This is all ESSENTIAL for my VISION!"
"Well sir," Miles continues. He's a young black man in a blue t-shirt, jeans, and a green windbreaker. "There's something else." He pauses, Darafont looking at him expectantly. "Mr. Howard is here about your use of his likeness. He wants to speak with you."
"WHAT," Darafont says, "THE Geese Howard? Why the hell--just." Darafont inhales, smoothing out his shirt and standing up straight. "Just...send him over."GEESE HOWARD enters the frame accompanied by two surly looking men in dark suits. Geese himself is wearing a purple suit with a silver-white, buttoned vest and black gloves. He slicks back his hair.
"Mr. Darabont," Geese says, polite but crisp. "I understand that you are working on some sort of television production." Geese smirks. "Forgive me for not knowing the name. I am not one for soap operas."
Dressed in his white gi and red hakama, Geese Howard stands near the edge of an active volcano. His arms are crossed in a meditative pose, the aikido master's will focused entirely on the battle to come. Nearby, a helicopter circles the volcano as Hank Darafont (director) and Miles watch out the window. A camera is rolling, attached to the bottom of the helicopter.
"This is so outrageous," Darafont says, "Why the HELL did Howard make us come all the way out here just to watch some FIGHT? I'm not interested in some sort of stupid martial arts demo."
Tanned skin steams from the heat being given off by the volcano, but still, unbothered, the Master of the Fist walks onwards. Bare foot, he walks across scorching terrain, only bothering to leap through the air effortlessly when faced with actual molten rock. Gradually, he makes his way upwards, until he reaches the lip of the volcano opposite Geese Howard.
Eyes like cinders in the dark glare across the hellmouth that separates them, a vision of infernal torment below. Akuma folds his arms and looks imperiously at the opponent whose power he has sensed for quite some time. A fitting battlefield for a contest of true warriors... Assuming his match this time is actually what he has been rumored to be.
Soon, the truth of the matter shall be laid to rest one way or anotehr. In the meantime, the Raging Demon watches and waits, measuring the fighting prowess and spirit of his challenger.
"So you're the so-called Raging Demon," Geese says, raising his head arrogantly to look down toward Akuma. "I've heard you were a terror in the World Warrior tournament. Any man who could wound Bernstein as you did must be a true terror." Geese rolls his neck, uncrossing his arms and legging them hang at his sides. His fingers work, muscles and sinew taut as his stance tightens. "Perhaps I should thank you," Geese says, "you helped me snatch victory from him and from that monster, Azrael!" A wide, arrogant smile crosses Geese's face as he clogs click across the volcanic rock.
"What are they even doing?" Darafont says, "they're like...staring at each other. I thought this was a fight? Where are they even at this volcano?"
"Just watch," Jeffrey Dean Morgan, the actor behind Negan, leans forward in his seat across the helicopter.
Geese's clogs slide along through the ash, tracing a line. Lava bursts behind him, erupting from a pit before splattering on the ground. "But now that you've come, I'll see the power of the Demon myself! Show me the man who humbled the Lord of Battle!"
Power surges around Geese as he gathers his chi, but is perfectly controled. He raises his hand upward, sweeping it like a scoop, and a wave of blue-white wind chi rips across the volcano's surface toward Akuma.
COMBATSYS: Geese has started a fight here. You cannot escape wrong death.
COMBATSYS: Akuma has joined the fight here.

Akuma waits patiently, the illumination of the lava below casting waves of yellow and red light rippling across his features like a fiery inversion of the refraction off of a pool of water. When Geese attacks, he braces himself, holds out his hands as though intending to catch the wave of power, and scatters it across his palms as the volcanic soil and rocks beneath his feet crumble under the impact, threatening to send him into the ruinous flames and fiery Earth's blood.
But he does not fall. Instead, he leaps up into the air, somersaulting, pausing for a moment in midair as he thrusts out his palms again, one after the other, and hurls a pair of dark chi blasts towards his opponent, before landing on the rim of the volcano a bit closer. From there, he begins running, reckless-seeming in such a precarious position, but his footing is assured, always finding the purchase he seeks even as it falls away in his wake.

Geese 0/-------/----===|=------\-------\0 Akuma
Waves of heat rise from the volcano behind him as Geese steps across the igneous rock toward Akuma. When the Reppuken smashes against Akuma's guard, the Syndicate kingpin smirks. He would expect nothing less from a man who could defeat Rugal Bernstein.
And in the next instant, Geese is put on the defensive. The Gou Hadouken smashes against his own guard, first against a raised forearm as Geese steps forward and adjusts his stance. The second explodes against his palm as Geese swipes a hand through it, his hand glowing with blue-white chi of his own. He clenches his fist, muscle and sinew tightening as the flash of power concentrates around his tightened grip.
And then Geese steps forward into Akuma's advance, striking downward with an overhead, chi-infused chop toward the Ansatsuken master.
COMBATSYS: Akuma attempts to interrupt Hishou Nichirin Zan from Geese with Shouten Shoryuu.

Geese 0/-------/--=====|=====--\-------\0 Akuma
Akuma sees the descending chop, engulfed in surging energy, and rather than trying to defend against it, he simply blurs forwards into it, crouching for a brief moment before rising upwards, trailing shadowy afterimages of himself, with his fist raised as he attempts to unleash a Gou Shoryuken. He takes damage in the process, the chop landing heavily upon his shoulder, but the possibility exists to hurl Geese into the air, strike repeatedly, and then, at the end, attempt to seize the other martial artist and slam him to the ground, tearing through jagged stone, and threatening to tip them both into the lava bubbling hundreds of feet below.
Searing toxic gases vent from cracks in the terrain as a result of their clash no matter which way it goes, making even breathing a hazard. But with how mobile these two are, they have their pick of places for their fists to meet again and again around the hellmouth.
COMBATSYS: Geese fails to reverse Shouten Shoryuu from Akuma with Chuudan Atemi Nage.

Geese 1/-----==/=======|=======\-------\1 Akuma
The chop splits the air with a flash of chi, but in the instant between movement and impact Akuma moves to intercept. He slips in through the gap, and Geese moves to reverse. The master of aikido shifts his position, clogs digging into the volcanic ash as he shifts his footing.
But Akuma is too fast. The blurred movement catches Geese before his form is adjusted. The chop has not left Akuma's shoulder before before Geese is lifted bodily and slammed into the stone. Blood and spittle spray from his mouth as the ledge gives away, dropping the two of them almost ten feet before Geese tumbles into a slide and clutches his midsection. He takes heavy breaths, glaring daggers at Akuma.
Above, the helicopter circles again, the cameraman zooming in through the smoke to get a better view. "What is even going on?" Darafont shouts. Jeffrey Dean Morgan, dressed in a grey hoodie instead of his Negan costume, raises a finger to his lips in a most Negan way.
"Shhh. You work in show business, Mister Director. Don't talk during the program."
They both risked a pummeling with their counter attempts, but in this exchange, at least, Geese Howard came out the loser. There is still a great battle left to be fought however, and more opportunities. Akuma is not interested in ending this too swiftly, but neither is he merciful. He capitalizes upon Geese's downed state, trying to seize him by the arm, turn, and full-body throw the other martial artist through the air.
If Howard is unable to avoid the throw attempt, or unable to right himself in the air, he may find himself sailing dangerously over the edge on his way towards another, less damaged spot along the rim. The searing heat even from that brief exposure is an order of magnitude greater than that from being just to the side, but for one strong enough in the use of Chi, it should not be lethal.
COMBATSYS: Geese blocks Akuma's Medium Throw.

Geese 1/-----==/=======|=======\-------\1 Akuma
When Akuma advances on Geese again, the aikido master is seized by the arm. The full-body throw follows, but Geese is not unprepared. He twists as he goes, adjusting his momentum to land in a slide on his feet back toward the edge of the rim. As he goes, lava flares behind him in a great column, heat pouring off of it in waves.
Geese sweeps his arms in a circle, wind-like chi twisting and curling around his body as he regains his composure. Teeth clench and muscles tighten. In a moment, he launches toward Akuma once more, striking out with an open palm.
But the palm strike turns to a feint, Geese attempting to plant the flat of his hand against Akuma's arm, then grab hold. His leg sweeps around as he goes, aiming to take the Demon's legs out from under him as Geese pushes toward. The whole movement is a sweeping, circular motion. Dancelike, were it not for its brutality.
Above, the helicopter draws in closer.
"How did he do that?" Darafont asked. "He like, did that thing. In mid-air."
COMBATSYS: Akuma instinctively blocks Geese's Grounding Throw.
[ \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ < > ///////////////////// ]
Geese 1/----===/=======|=======\=------\1 Akuma
As those twisting currents of Chi flow outwards, Geese's hand seizing at Akuma's forearm, the latter jerks his arm back and then thrusts it forwards again as Geese's leg sweeps in and strikes a leg. A burst of dark Chi flows from his hand, freeing the limb in a corkscrewing motion that compliments and seemingly counteracts the grapple, allowing him to plant himself as firmly as though he were part of the landscape, a mountain in human form and human scale.
The shudder of force and power still travels painfully up the martial artist's leg, craks and the actual stone splintering outwards, but he does not lose his balance as he might have if he had allowed Geese to dictate his center of balance. Instead, demonstrating the boon that his wealth of experience and countless battles has granted him, the reflexive defense he used against that circulating style of his opponents is followed through with, turning into the motion of the kick against his leg to try to snap a high round house kick into the side of Geese's head and launch him into the air.
Akuma leaps into the air himself a moment later, shadowy afterimages of his movements trailing him as he extends one leg and spins rapidly, a small tornado spawning on the spot, sucking in heat and jagged stones to engulf him as he tries to land a Tatsukmaki Zanku Kyaku empowered by the Satsui no Hadou in a series of repeated strikes.

Geese 0/-------/----===|=====--\-------\0 Akuma
Movements snap in an instant. Geese acts, Akuma reacts. The roles shift. Chi and fists fly with the precision of true masters.
Akuma's roundhouse kick cuts through the air in a dangerous course toward Geese's head. The Hakkyokuseiken master's eyes focus. He tilts his head to the side and strikes up with his palm, not as much blocking the kick as redirecting it over his head.
But then Akuma is airborne, Geese following his movements. His face is filled with consternation, a scowl spreading suddenly. Channeled power surges through Geese's arms as he intercepts the first kick with a cross-block. In its wake, he seizes opportunity.
Geese's hand snaps out for Akuma's face, and the Syndicate kingpin seeks to palm Akuma out of the spinning Tatsumaki Zanku Kyaku, lift him high in the air, then drive him downward with a shuddering one-handed slam. The force of the blow echoes through the volcano and sends spiderweb cracks spreading through the rock around them. A piece near the edge tumbles into the lava below.
Geese is no layabout, there to be pummeled by Akuma. He manages to interrupt the fierce technique, and counter attack. The rock breaks upon Akuma's back, rather than the reverse, and he is soon toppling and sliding down into the volcano itself. Akuma pushes off the wall, made uneven by the repeated deposits of molten stone that have accumulated over enormous lengths of time, and then, while sailing backwards over the inferno below. He one knee up to chest left, arms raised at either side, parallel to his torso, fingers held in almost ritualistic position.
As dark Chi builds around him, he draws his hands down to his side and places the heels of his palms together. When he completes his considerable flight, feet touching down on the opposite side of the volcano from where he started, the Chi around him explodes outwards and he unleashes a huge purple mass of energy, infused with the murderous power of the Satsui no Hado, back towards Geese, along with Akuma's cry. "Messatsu!" He pumps more of his power into the attack, and it doubles in size. "Gou Hadou!" he finishes gutturally.
COMBATSYS: Akuma successfully hits Geese with Messatsu Gou Hadou EX.

Geese 0/-------/=======|=------\-------\0 Akuma
The volcano tremors and shakes, not only in itself but in the thunderous blows of the battle going on atop it. As the platform gives way, the battlefield shifts and the fighters move with it.
"Holy shit!" Darabont says from the helicopter as it circles acround the smoke. "I think they fell into the volcano. Did you get that on film?" He presses his face against the window, smoshing his cheek against the glass as he tries to get a better few. "Fly in closer!"
Geese lands on a jagged stone below, his clogs digging into the ash as he does. The purple eruption of the Messatsu Gou Hadou powers toward him, ripping through the already heavy air with the stifling power of the Satsui no Hadou. It slams into Geese like a howitzer, driving the Syndicate kingpin across the sizzling stone and almost forcing him into the lava below. The blond man reels, nearly doubling over before he regains his balance with a sneer.
And then he advances, leaping from platform to platform. He launches across the gap. White-blue wind chi swirls around him like a vortex, and then Geese slams both palms into the earth on his landing. Energy erupts around him like a raging tornado of power, ripping out in several great, jagged blades of raw chi.
COMBATSYS: Akuma blocks Geese's Raging Storm.

Geese 0/-------/-----==|===----\-------\0 Akuma
Akuma is leaping once more across the fiery expanse, and so is in mid-air when Geese launches his attack. Akuma braces himself, holding his limbs before him and massing his aura, and then is subjected to a hurricane of force that blasts and throws him every which way, like a leaf caught in a gale. By fortune or skill, Akuma manages to use the impact of the attack to carry him back the way he came, only to be driven into the interior wall, rather than being tossed into the sea of lava below.
Debris, stone dust, smoke, and geysers of lava conceal the aftermath for several seconds. But then worn fingers, skin toughened by both battle and superhuman power, clamp down on the edges of the hole that Akuma's body formed, sending more cracks radiating from the impact point. Glowing red eyes shine from the darkness as the molten rock's uneven illumination dies down along with the geyser.
Then the Master of the Fist pulls himself out with enormous force, flying once more across the airspace, only this time not on a straight course for Geese, but on a perch like Geese found. Then, from there to another foothold, and another, making his way to a more advantageous position, even if lower and lower to the source of the infernal heat.
Then he teleports, blurring across the distance between himself and Geese while trailing shadowy after images as he unleashes a kick that could decapitate a normal fighter. Thankfully, his foe is no normal fighter. But that is apparently why Akuma is using more of his strength: because Geese is worthy, and because holding back against one this strong is not an option.

Geese 0/-------/--=====|=======\==-----\1 Akuma
Geese rises out of the Raging Storm as Akuma withdraws momentarily. His hand goes to his side as he spits, saliva evaporating on the rock at his feet. Burn marks and bruising spread from the wake of the past attack. His breathing, his pace, his being carries the weight of Akuma's blows. And yet? Geese holds his head high, his proud unyielding even against Akuma's ferocious power. This is a man who has faced the Mad Dog and the Lord of War. His victory in The World Warrior may have been stopped short by its host, Krauser, but Howard rose against all comers.
And as Akuma's kick scythes through the air, Geese's eyes narrow. His mind focuses. He has resumed his neutral stance, hands held loosely at his sides. The kick comes for his head, looming like a guillotine that would take the head of a lesser fighter.
Geese's hand strikes once once, sharp and precise. It strikes Akuma's leg from the side, not meeting force with force by subverting that force with perpendicular movement. He might not Akuma in an exchange of raw power, but his technique means he does not have to.
The upward strike transitions into a grab, Geese's fingers clamping around the fabric of Akuma's gi. The blond man pivots with circular motion, swinging Akuma around bodily into an overhead aikido throw.
Grabbed out of his attack with pin-point timing, and thrown with masteful technique, Akuma slams into the side of the volcano interior once again... His overly long canines on upper and lower jaw are exposed as his mouth reflexively opens under the impact, saliva and blood flying, red-on-black eyes widened in pain. Rock chips fly, but then seemingly freeze in the air as Akuma's expression of shock and pain turns to a savage grin. "Heh!" he lets out.
This is the kind of fight he wanted. The foe he can truly pit himself against with all his might, without having to worry about the frailities of humanity. One hand surges upwards, but it is not aimed at Geese. Instead, it is pointed towards the sky, already darkened with heavy clouds from the heat rising off the volcano. Lightning flashes in the blackened skies, crawling in arcs and jumps towards a central point.
Then it comes surging down towards Akuma's raised palm in a single massive bolt.
Akuma grabs the lightning the moment it makes contact, seizing it as though it were a material thing - like a mythical god preparing to rain devastation on the mortals below. Then he attempts to slam his lightning-infused hand down to the ledge beneath the two fighters' feet, to unleash a vortex of dark Chi and a shockwave of energy exploding outwards in all directions.

Geese 0/-------/-======|=======\-------\0 Akuma
Thunder rumbles through the sky. Lava bursts through stone and splashes through the air in red-orange flashes. Another clash occurs as martial artists far beyond the scope of mere mortals clash. Akuma brings forth his most terrible powers, and Geese rises to the challenge, leveraging a strength to clash with gods and monsters.
Lightning crashes. The blow comes. It approaches Geese as oncoming storm, the wrath of the heavens packed into a solitary, deadly blow.
Above, the helicopter tilts dangerously toward the edge. "What is even happening?! Did he just catch lightning? Oh. My. God." Darafont's face presses unceremoniously against the glass again. Jeffrey Dean Morgan chuckles.
"Negan's a badass," he says, "but do you still think a barbed wire bat is gonna do SHIT again THAT?"
Death approaches. The fist cuts through the air in an instant that stretches out forever. Geese sees it coming. Watches it. His mouth curls into a smirk.
His hand strikes out with surgical precision. Wind-chi surges around his hand, Geese's acute mastery of Hakkoyokuseiken brought to bear through his polished mastery of manipulating energy and momentum. There's a redirection, a pivot. It transitions into a sidestep, and then Geese is shifting to continue Akuma's forward momentum with a full-bodied hip-throw.
The explosive shockwave is prevented by Geese grabbing hold of Akuma before his lightning-shrouded fist can make contact with the ground, and then throwing him. Once again, he sails through the air, aided by the Chi that his opponent wields. He is thrown directly into one of the geysers of lava that rises from below, seemingly engulfing him utterly.
Is this the end of the Master of the Fist?
For a handful of seconds it may seem like it. But in one final burst of action, Akuma comes whirling out of the molten column, his leg slicing the half-liquid rock in twain as he emerges upon a dark whirlwind. "Tatsumaki Zankuu Kyaku!" Akuma roars, flames still clinging to him, lava dripping down from the shallow wounds that have finally started to appear in his iron flesh to show just how deep the damage has gone that it has finally rebounded to his exterior to match the injuries within.
It may not be enough to hand Akuma a victory, but no matter how powerful the opponent, Akuma does not give in until the end. Demons do not surrender when what they desire is so close at hand.
COMBATSYS: Akuma can no longer fight.

Geese smiles. It is a wicked, monstrous smile of a man who has carved out his place in the world through strength and deception. It is the smile of a man who has built one of the world's greatest criminal empires in his constant search for greater power. For a moment, he believes he has conquered the demon outright.
He is wrong.
The whirlwind kick slices through molten rock and ash. Geese's eyes widen as it approaches. He brings up his guard, aiming to stop the attack as he has stopped others, but he is too slow.
The kick impacts with Geese, cracking rock and launching him back into a cloud of ash and soot. Lava erupts from beneath again, the flash of red and the wave of heat obscuring the two fighters from the spectators above. Who is the victor? It remains unclear.
The helicopter pulls away as Hank Darafont dabs sweat from his brow with a handkerchief. "That was intense."
"Dude, that was AWESOME," Miles chimes in.
Darafont continues to dab at his face with the kerchief. "I...I think I'm going to need to rewrite that scene. Miles, call the writer. I need a new draft by tomorrow."
NEGAN circles around the crowd, pointing his bat from one person to the other. He stops over a blond man with slicked back hair, the barbed wire bat LUCILLE hovering ominously over the man's head.
"You can breathe. You can blink. You can cry. Hell, you're probably going to be doing all of that." The bat is raised high, then brought down sharply toward the man's head. The blond just smirks.
Lucille smashes into the man's open palm and stops in its track. Blood slowly runs down the man's hand. The camera zooms in, tracing its motion as the bat wobbles unsteadily. Negan's eyes goes wide.
"What the f-"
The blond man is on his feet an instant. He strikes forward with a single, swift palm and a bright flash of blue-white power. It caves in Negan's chest, launching him nearly twenty feet where he smashes into the side of the camper with enough force that the whole machine rocks. He drops to the ground with a thump as the Saviors look on in shock. The blond man merely laughs.
"Ha ha ha! PREDICTABO!"
