Description: The rematch of the century, except for the last one. The Eagle Scout Aaron faces off against Sven once again at Antelope Canyon, facing off for a Neo League match.
Why was it called 'The Crack.
Untold years of erosion by rainfall and occasional flooding have turned this series of sandstone caves into what's known as a slot canyon. Antelope Canyon is on the tribal land of the Navajo living in Arizona and is a breathtaking example of nature's ability to create beautiful scenery. The predominant colors here are the faded oranges, golds, reds, and browns of southwestern US sandstone, shaped into whorls and erratic but smooth pillars reaching up toward ground level. The ground itself is actually quite even and smooth as well. At some points the canyon is only about as wide as a single person; in others it's considerably wider, thanks to the uneven shaping of the canyon walls by the course of the water that's formed it. This part of the canyon, the upper part, is called "The Crack," and it's considerably more accessible than the more craggy and narrow lower canyon.
But seriously, why The Crack.
Sven Maesters, dressed in a wolfpelt cape, manages to just beat the heat by wearing no shirt. Sweating profusely anyways, he keeps his mask on top of his head. The blonde-bearded wrestler was standing fast, leaning his back against the wall. Another Neo League match. More importantly, another rematch. Another fight with the Boy Scouts, another fight with Aaron. This time, though, Sven was not the rookie champ; he was just another wrestler, just another fighter. Leaning against the wall, he looks up at the opening up top, lips cracked from the parched thirst. Was it really gonna be the same kid?
After all, both fighters have changed in their own ways.
It was a rough day for Troop 678. The scouts had toiled in the sun to clean up Antelope Canyon. The work was hard, having to find and remove the trash and derbies left at the Adopt a Spangles event. While the sun beat down on them and their muscles ached, they had high spirits. Their high spirits were due to the Scout they had seen fight on TV, Aaron Fang.
The Eagle Scout fighter was once again helping a local troop clean up after Jezebel. As the heat of the day encroached, the scouts stopped for lunch. While the rest rested and watched, Aaron walked towards a familiar face. Aaron still had the same bow, but it had slight gashes and faint signs of wear. He wore a class-B T-shirt, and a tan boonie hat. Meeting his opponent face to face, he looked him straight in the eye. Put his hand forward for a handshake.
"Hello Mr. Maesters, It's nice to see you again."
He looked at how the War Wolf was sweating, and took out a plastic water bottle.
"Would you like a drink of water?"
Always with a team.
Sven Maesters watches the work, sweat pouring down him. Just like last time, they were working on cleaning up the messes left behind by Jezebel. He didn't get the whole Lightning Spangles thing. It's just embarrassing. And yet, there was Spangles all over the world. And Sven? He doesn't even have an action figure. Resentment stews in his heart, as he glares at the Boy Scouts. Aaron was approaching him, the eagle scout stepping up in the heat. And finally, the boy comes to him... offering him a bottle of water? Sven stares at him, scowling, looking over at the cameras. They weren't on him. And then, a smirk comes out, just a little one.
"Oh, ya, thanks kid."
Sven shakes the boy's hand firmly, nodding. Giving a quick pat on his shoulder, Sven takes the bottle, and pops it open. Guzzling down the water thirstily, he catches his breath, breathing hard. He doesn't say much for a bit, slurping up. Looking down at Aaron, he glances past him, to the Scout Troop working hard. He gestures the bottle at them.
"You here with your Troop, kid? Ya?"
Sven growls, looking to them. "I've been working on not making fun of kids in front of their friends. You know, I got to be a heel around Boy Scouts, ya? I gotta make you kids look good, so I gotta be an asshole. Sorry, a jerk." Sven mulls quietly, looking at the bottle. "I think I'll throw this bottle down in the fight, you know, litter? Good insult to your hard work. Not more than that, you kids do good work." Sven nearly finishes the bottle, leaving just enough for the show. He gestures at the clearing, as the camera crew sets up. "Looks like we are fighting soon, kid. You got anything I shouldn't insult about you, ya?"
"Anything you don't want me to make fun of in front of your friends?"
Aaron looked at him and smiled. "Don't worry, I'm not a member of this troop, I'm just here to help out." He gestured over at the scouts who were sitting around, drinking down their water. "A lot of the scouts around here love watching fights, and it's a real treat for you to be willing to come here again, so I will have to say thank you for doing this." Pointing to the bottle he added another point. "That sounds great, works as a good hydration reminder too. Plus, don't worry about what you say, so long as it's nothing inappropriate.
With his opponent greeted, and a plan laid out, the sun was just reaching it's zenith. Aaron walked back over to his placement, the cameras were trained, and the scouts found their seatings.
"I got you kid, ya?"
The duo spreads out to the starting positions. "You good kid, you know? You keep doing good." Sven says brightly. He didn't agree with the Boy Scouts, but he liked it. But that was it for the praise from the wrestler. The camera was now on both of them, running. And Sven, smirking before, was giving a sneer, his face twisted up in a smug glare of arrogance. He was throwing back the bottle, giving a noisy, sucking guzzle.
It was time to heel it up.
"You Boy Scouts come all the way back here, to clean up the mess Lightning Spangles left behind? What are you, her nannies? Her babysitters? Well you can clean up my mess then!" Sven throws the bottle to the ground, right between himself and Aaron. With a stomp, he -crushes- the bottle into the dirt, and kicks it away. "You boys better don't forget to clean what's left of Aaron too! AWOOOO!" Sven throws back a howl, as he slips his mask over his face.
And the match starts.
Sven Maesters roars back, flipping towards one of the canyon walls. Getting his booted feet in place, he footstools off the wall, lunging through the air at Aaron. Drawing back a fist, he -hurls- out a stunning superman punch, aiming to slam the full force of the wrestler right into the boy scout. The wrestler was playing rough, right out the gate.
But he remembered what that bow could do.

Aaron got ready for the oncoming combat, but the heel's fist rained down on the Scout before he could slip away. He was pushed towards the ground by the impact, with the wolf standing over him. The scouts watching winced at what looked like a painful blow so early on. In the dust at the gate's open, Aaron held a proper remark.
"Scouts are taught to leave a place better than we found it."
Aaron held tight, and rocketed back up with the swing of his bow. The eagle beak swinging down like an ax, point aimed at Sven's wolf mask. It might just help jog his memory.
COMBATSYS: Sven fails to interrupt EDGE Method from Aaron with Wolfensteiner ES.

Sven was already in motion, as Aaron was sending in his counter attack.
The wrestler, having found contact with his punch, only rests on his feet for a moment. "AROOO!" He howls out, as he pivots, front flipping over in tandem with the boy scout. The overhead blow comes from Aaron, as Sven's murderous thighs open wide, ready to snap Aaron 's head into their grips.
But Sven is just a little too slow.
Aaron doesn't hit the wrestler's head, but hits him out of his front flip. Taking the blow on the thigh, Sven grunts as he is sent spiking down at Aaron's feet. Growling, he begins to rises back up. "By the time I am through with you?"
"Your scouts will never leave it any worse than it is!"
Aaron was... confused at Sven's threat, cocking his head in confusion. But the sun was beating down in the canyon, the shadows small. Aaron crept back from the warwolf, then held his hand up in the sunlight.
As long as there are the outdoors, Scouts will strive to help everyone enjoy them.
At his finger tips, bright light had formed. Quickly bringing back down, he pulled back the string. He then let loose the string, sending forth a beaming bolt of light.

Sven manages to steady himself just in time for a single bolt of light to be unleashed. Turning to a side step, the lash of light tears right through his body. The wrestler groans, clasping his chest in pain. It wasn't a deep wound, but it was a -heck- of a wound, and it hurt like the dickens. Snarling, he releases his chest, and then -pounds- it. Building into a frenzy, the wrestler howls. "You dumb kid!" Was the cry. "The sun will fall! And in it's place"
"The Night of the Warwolf will rise!"
Body bulging, he hammers on his fist like a gorilla. Sweat pouring from his body again, he snarls as he throws himself at Aaron. And there, he makes for a simple -shove-, trying to close that suppressive distance with a staggering push. There, he would send Aaron knocking back into the Canyon wall. Letting him position himself, corner the young man.
And set up his relentless assault there. % R

Aaron sees the beast charge for him, trying to force him against the canyon walls. He nimbly side steps, and lets the man move towards the shrinking shadows. Staring down his opponent, Aaron rooted himself, and began to speak.
"Give us your night, we will lift up our lanterns." He gained a slight glow. "Give us your sun, and we will put on our hats." Tassels of white light grew visible. "Give us cold, we will don our coats." A white aura was covering him now. "give us the scorching summer heat, we will down our water." The scout spirit was flowing out of him now, giving a spectacle of light.
"We will be prepared, but are you prepared?"
COMBATSYS: Aaron gathers the Spirit of Scouting.

Sven hits the wall, palms first.
Pushing right back, he turns around, breathing hard as sweat pools around his mask. Striding at Aaron, he hestiates just a moment, as the kid starts his speech. Coiling in slowly, he gets closer, closer, attempting to approach slowly, as the light bursts around him. Shielding his eyes, he gazes back, shaking his head. "You know what I will give, ya?" Sven rumbles, coming towards Aaron.
"I'm going to give you the earth!"
Sven surges in, attempting to seize up Aaron. Should he succeed? He will hold him straight upside down, hanging him in the air for just a moment, before -slamming- him on his back. And there, he would attempt to pin him down, clutching his leg to his chest, to squeeze him down into a hold.
COMBATSYS: Aaron blocks Sven's Crushing Throw.

Aaron's radiant light gave glare to his opponent. But not enough that he could miss. Aaron saw the incoming charge and kept himself rooted. He attempted to resist the grapple. Aaron would not get turned over, and would not let his head be smashed into the earth. He however, lacked the power to resist the hold altogether.
Forced to the ground, Sven had him in a pin. Barely having a grip on his bow, and no room to swing, he tired his newest trick. From the palm of his hand, a ball light began to form in his hand again. Rather than placing it into his bow, Aaron jutted his palm right at Sven's face. The ball of chi forced right into him.
COMBATSYS: Aaron successfully hits Sven with Eagle Palm.

Sven almost had him.
Wrestling him to the ground, he tries to make the pin, tries to crush him down. But the Boy Scout unleashes the one-inch punch, and with a blast, blows back Sven with a burst of power. Grunting, the wrestler staggers back, his cloak swirling around him as his body reddens from the force. Gripping his chest, he steadies his feet, drawing in a heavy breath. "You are pretty good kid! But you are not best! I was a champion! And you were just some Eagle Scout!" Sven gives a flex, squeezing his biceps up as he glares across at the boy. "You are about to have some real trouble now!"
"For the night of the Warwolf is nigh!"
COMBATSYS: Sven focuses on his next action.

Aaron was freed, and his foe did not reapply the pressure. This scout looked down the former world champion. The Eagle however noticed where the sun was. Aaron tipped his hat, and opened up his quiver.
"I'm sorry to say while it is night somewhere in the world, right now..."
Aaron held out his bow, and aimed it right at Sven. He started to glow a faint red light.
'IT'S HIGH NOON."
COMBATSYS: Aaron takes aim.

Sven doesn't waste more time.
The moment when Aaron begins to take aim, the wrestler was already making his run. Not for the boy scout, no. For the walls. Unleashing a staggering front flip, he bounds high up to the canyon wall, fixing his boots hard on the surface. His head was pounding, his body burning. But turning in tandem, as the boy calls out, Sven snarls.
"Oh you better saddle up, cowboy, ya?"
Sven springboards off the wall, spiraling through the air. Shooting straight for Aaron, he unleashes the mother of all moonsaults as he vaults -right- to Aaron, to slam him with all the force he could muster. An acrobatic strike, and aggressive strike.
But was soon enough?

Sven leaps right at Aaron, can manages to impact him. However, Aaron raised his guard, and shifted. The wrestler hit him with all the force his muscles would show, but only in his side. The Scout upper body twisted at the impact, but with that same twist, he reached for his arrow.
As Sven rocketed forwards, Aaron kept his bow traced right on him. He notched an arrow, with it's head burning red. He fired it, sending it right at Sven.
Then he fired another arrow.
A dozen arrows were trailing the former champion, each on burning hotter than summer's day.
COMBATSYS: Aaron successfully hits Sven with Empowered Scout's Law.

That was a dangerous mistake. One that Sven pays for in blood. The moment he hits the ground, he was rising up, bringing a forearm up. The arrow drives hard in his arm, as a second arrow comes. A third, a fourth. The assault rips through him, as he groans in agony. Stunned, slowed, he staggers backwards, as he becomes a pincushion for the arrow assault. Eyes wide behind his mask, he looks at the damage. He was nearly down.
But Sven Maesters wasn't out.
Ripping an arrow out from his chest, he howls in rage. Thundering at Aaron once more, the wrestler throws himself forward. Bringing both of his arms around, he gives a stunning hammerblow at Aaron. Should he connect? He would pivot with a front flip. Thighs wide apart, he attempts to snap them tightly around the boy scout's neck? Should he get a grip? He would pivot, slamming backwards to spike Aaron headfirst to the ground once. Twice. Three times, in three flips, before finally hurling him away to the Canyon Wall.
But only if he got that grip.
COMBATSYS: Sven successfully hits Aaron with Wolfensteiner 3D ES.
! VENGEANCE !

Aaron's arrows peppered the man, nearly pining him to the rock. But when Sven came back, Aaron wasn't fast enough. The smashing of the arms stunned Aaron in the moment, and Sven's thighs squeezed around his neck like a bear trap. Aaron tasted the dirt, tasted the sand, and tasted his own blood. Sven released him, and the Eagle flew through the sky.
He crashed high on the canyon walls, knocking down a great cloud of dust. As the sand and silt fell down on the fight, Aaron was no where to be seen. He wasn't stuck in the rock, and no one heard him fall. I may have very well been a ring out.
Until the Eagle Scout came out at Sven's flank at point blank range, arrow notched. His face was covered in blood, the only thing keeping him up was his own determination. He would let loose the string, and a length of metal pipe, litter turned arrow, would fire right into Sven's side.
COMBATSYS: Aaron keeps on fighting!

That should have been it.
As Sven unleashes the full force of the Wolfensteiner, he rises up steadily. He pulls out another arrow, throwing it to the ground, breathing hard from behind his mask. The dust flows around him, as he reaches for his cape. Gripping it, he throws it off. "Come on!" He howls. "COME! ON! AROOO! AROOO!" He felt the motion, the movement. He felt the pivot.
And he was too late.
Aaron comes flying in from the flanks, as the dust clears. Turning to face the boy, Sven takes a shot straight to his side. Groaning from the impact, he nearly falls off his feet. Staggering around, he groans and groans, reaching for the shaft of the arrow. Slowly, he gets his footing. And with it, comes a howl, as he turns read.
And he begins to hammer at Aaron.
Left and right, he flails his limbs, almost blind in the relentless frenzy. He was bleeding, bleeding hard. But he chains his limbs to try and knock the boy around. And then, he would come with a last attack: to grab Aaron by his knees, lift up, and spin around and around. ANd there, he would finish the throw by letting Aaron fly from his grasp. But only, if only. Becaues no matter what?
Sven would be falling to the dust.
COMBATSYS: Sven can no longer fight.

Blow landed, Aaron tried to get out while he could still walk. When the warwolf lunged for him, the scout ducked into the falling cloud, and reappeared on the other side. The dust cleared, one was barely standing, leaning on his bow. The other was face down, peppered with arrows.
Aaron took out of a bottle of water and opened it. He limped over to Sven, and started to treat the arrow wounds
COMBATSYS: Aaron has ended the fight here.
Sven just raises his head a bit, bleeding and wounded, as Aaron tends to him. There was a medical team, of course, but as far as first responders go, well, Aaron had a badge. The wrestler grunts, laying there, mask concealing his face. But his words are soft, away from the cameras. "You did good kid."
